Marvin A. Mitchell P.Eng (Director)

Marvin Mitchell, P.Eng., has over 35 years experience as a geologist, graduating from the Butte School of mines. During his career, he has worked at both Britannia Beach Copper and Bralorne Gold Mines in British Columbia and was coal project manager for Ranger Oil during the development of Ranger's Mt Spieker Coal Project, next to the Bullmoose mine. Since 1985 he has been an independent geological consultant on behalf of large and small mining companies working on properties in the United States, Asia, South America, and Africa. He is the Acting President of Island Arc Exploration and is a director of a number of junior resource issuers.

Clay Conway. Ph.D. (Geol) Geological Consultant.

Mr. Conway graduated from Brigham Young University in 1966 with a B.Sc. Geology and obtained his Ph.D. in Geology from the California Institute of Technology in 1975. He is a Fellow of the Geological Society of America, a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists, and is a Registered Geologist in both Utah and Arizona.
As a Research Scientist at the U.S. Geological Survey from 1975 to 1996, he performed mineral resource assessments of public lands, and conducted mineral deposit research with a specialty in massive sulphide and other mineral deposits in Proterozoic rocks in the southwestern U.S.
He has been an independent geologic consultant since 1996, primarily in mineral exploration on both disseminated and vein style gold deposits in the U.S. and Saudi Arabia, and has expertise in structural geology, and interpreting geospatial data and remote sensing imagery.

Brad Peek. M.Sc.(Geol)

Mr. Peek graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1970 with a B.Sc. Geology and obtained his M.Sc. in Geology from the University of Alaska in 1975.

He has over 25 years of experience in mineral exploration as an exploration geologist for both Cominco American (1970-1976) and Houston Oil & Minerals (1977 to 1982) on a number of types of lead zinc and copper deposits, before becoming senior geologist for Crown Resources (1983-1989)

He has served as a consultant and project manager to other mineral exploration companies for both precious and base metals, both in North America and the Far East.
