Coal, Saskatchewan
Kent Exploration has been received for coal disposition permits on 93,432 hectares (approximately 350 square miles)in the region. Drill Permitting has been received on the Casat Lake coal prospecting
The Company's first properties are in close proximity to North American Gem's (NAG: TSX-V) "Adamas" discovery where, in 2007, Adamas discovered a coal seam that graded sub-bituminous A (43-101-compliant) quality over five metres in the Cretaceous rock (Mannville group rocks) sequence containing coal similar to the Goldsource coal discovery.
Historical data and reports suggest that coal is present to the north edge of the Cretaceous rock sequence along the shores of Wapawekka Lake to the north of the Adamas discovery and the Company's claim groups. These reports further suggest that the Wapawekka outcrop is likely associated with a larger deposit to the south. The Adamas intercept is directly south of Wapawekka Lake along the low-lying basin adjacent to the southeast of the Narrow Hills uplands.
The recent coal discovery by Goldsource Mines of bituminous coal, with a current estimated resource of between 450 - 900 million tons confirms the regional potential for coal deposits and suggests the potential for a additional coal systems.
The Company is expediting the process of putting its Coal Exploration Team in place
